Who Was Man Of The Match? Ilkay Gündogan
Manchester City beat West Ham 2-1 at Etihad Stadium, thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho, to move up to second in the Premier League.

Gundogan’s first-half tap-in, which was severely prolonged as City’s ground workers courageously cleared the playing field of the downpour of snow that had rendered the conclusion of the first period nearly unplayable, was the difference between the two teams at the interval.
Gundogan is our Man of the Match for this game.
After replacing Raheem Sterling, Fernandinho scored a second on 90 minutes with one of his first touches of the game.
West Ham had a few promising opportunities, with one of the most disappointing chances coming in the second half when Vladimir Coufal and Michail Antonio both went for the same ball, allowing City to clear and avoid danger.
Manuel Lanzini robbed Fernandinho and volleyed the ball off the post and into the net late in extra time to give them the lead.
With the result, City moves into the second position in the Premier League standings, while West Ham slips further below the top three, currently five points behind Liverpool.
