Who Was Man Of The Match? Takehiro Tomiyasu
After a convincing 2-0 win against Newcastle United on Saturday, Arsenal drew level on points with fourth-placed West Ham United thanks to goals from Saka and Martinelli.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is our Man of the Match for his superb display.

Arsenal has now won 18 of their past 19 matches against Newcastle in all competitions.

Newcastle went down as Bukayo Saka hammered home on 56 minutes, with Eddie Howe in the bench for the first time since taking charge after recuperating from Covid-19.

Saka went off the pitch with an injury later in the second half, causing concern for the Gunners.
Newcastle is now winless in 13 league games and anchored to the bottom of the table as a result of the loss.
Arsenal had the majority of possession in the first half, but goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale had to make a spectacular save from Jonjo Shelvey’s long-range shot after 30 minutes.
The hosts could have seized the lead just before halftime, but Gunners captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed a great chance from close range, keeping the score level.
The substitute Martinelli extended Arsenal’s advantage with a superb first-time finish with his second touch.

Mikel Arteta’s side is now unbeaten in eight games at The Emirates in all competitions, winning seven of them. Howe has a big job on his hands because the Toon are still without a Premier League win this season.
