Who Was Man Of The Match? Ivan Perisic

In the battle of the titans in the Serie A between Inter and Napoli, it was the team from Milan that came out on top and earned 3 valuable points in their push to retain the Scudetto.

Piotr Zielinski scored the games opener, surprisingly for the home fans, as the away side took the lead in this all important game between sides 1st and 3rd in the league. Hakan Calhanoglu however equalised shortly after, levelling the game after 25 minutes.

Ivan Perisic scored Inter’s second goal just before half time which kept the momentum for Inter going into half time.

The game restarted, and Inter looked the more threatening side, and they were rewarded for their efforts, as Argentine striker Lautaro Martínez scored Inter’s 3rd goal, giving Simone Inzaghi’s men a two goal cushion.

Dries Mertens scored Napoli’s second in the 78th minute to make it 3-2, but that turned out to be a mere consolation, as Inter held on and the referee blew the whistle to end an entertaining game.
