Who Was Man Of The Match? Juventus 1-0 Fiorentina

Juventus nipped up a goal in the dying stages of the game, as Juan Cuadrado found the net in the 91st minute of the game to give Juventus valuable 3 points. Cuadrado may have scored the winner, but it was the American Weston McKennie who is today’s man of the match for his all round display in the middle of the park that earned Juventus the 3 points.

It was a damp game of football between the two sides who find themselves well adrift of the top. Surpirsingly for Italian heavyweights Juventus who are trying to find their feet under the new manager, Max Allegri

Federico Chiesa came closest to scoring before the actual winner, as the Italian’s shot hit the underside of the bar, denying Chiesa of scoring against his former side.

Juve did find the net eventually, right at the death. This time, it was another one of Fiorentina’s ex player, Juan Cuadrado who scored the winner. The Colombian went past Cristiano Biraghi and shot at goal, which squeezed past the goalkeeper and the near post sending Juventus into frenzy.
