Who Was Man Of The Match? Conor Gallagher

Crystal Palace stunned Manchester City by beating them 2-0, with goals from Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher.

Zaha scored his 50th Premier League goal for the club on a Crystal Palace counter-attack early in the match.

Just before halftime, Zaha enticed Aymeric Laporte into tugging him down, resulting in the City defender being sent out for being the last man.

In the second half, Pep Guardiola’s team gave it all for their boss in his 200th Premier League game in charge. They thought they had leveled when Gabriel Jesus tucked home at the back post, but VAR ruled the goal out because Phil Foden was offside in the build-up.

City appeared to be deflated as a result of the decision, and Palace countered shrewdly in the closing seconds, with Gallagher blasting home to clinch the points. Conor Gallagher is our Man of the Match today for his goal and assist at Etihad.

Manchester City now sits in the third position in the Premier League, five points behind Chelsea. While Crystal Palace moves up to the 13th position.
