Who was Man Of The Match?  Aaron Ramsdale

Arsenal’s excellent momentum in the Premier League continues with a 2-0 win over Leicester on Saturday, thanks to two early goals and Aaron Ramsdale’s goalkeeping masterclass.

Arsenal seized the lead as Gabriel headed home Bukayo Saka’s corner after only five minutes before Emile Smith Rowe took advantage of some sloppy Leicester defence to steer past Kasper Schmeichel from 12 yards to make it 2-0.

Ramsdale continued to defy the doubters with a world-class save before the interval, turning James Maddison’s free-kick onto the crossbar before Jonny Evans’ rebound struck the post.

As Leicester squandered numerous fine chances to cut the lead in half, Ramsdale continued his heroics in the second half, saving superbly from substitutes Ademola Lookman and Harvey Barnes who changed the game for Leicester.

Aaron Ramsdale and Arsenal kept another clean sheet. He is our Man of the Match for his superb display.

Arsenal’s recent victory extends their league winning streak to six games, putting them within striking distance of the Champions League qualifying positions.
