Bayern Munich continued their domination of the Bundesliga as they scored 4 past Hoffenheim to maintain their lead on the top of the league over Borussia Dortmund by 1 point. The Bavarians had demolished then 2nd in the league Bayer Leverkusen 5-1 only last week. Dayot Upamecano was today’s Man of the Match who not only kept a clean sheet but also provided two assists for Bayern’s third and fourth goal.
Former Arsenal winger, Serge Ganbry opened the scoring for Bayern as he scored off Jamal Musiala’s pass and scored past Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann.
Robert Lewandowski scored a stunner to double Bayern’s lead as fired Thomas Muller’s pass into the top corner.
The two teams went into half time at 2-0, but Bayern doubled the score by the end of the game. Julian Nagelsmann substitutes helped as Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting added a third, and Kingsley Coman completed Hoffenheim’s misery by scoring the fourth. Dayot Upamecano assisted both the goals.
