Barcelona finally won a game of football in the right manner as they beat travelling Valencia 3-1. Memphis Depay was at the heart of all good that came from Barcelona, and for his performance, he’s today’s man of the match.

Valencia took the early lead in the game as José Gayà scored in the 5th minute. It would have sent chills down at the Nou Camp, but Barcelona soon equalised with Ansu Fati scoring the equaliser, assisted by Memphis Depay. Memphis added a second by scoring off the penalty spot in in the 41st minute, just before half time.

Depay was at it again in the second half, as his movement and game led to to the third goal. His incisive pass found Sergino Dest, who beat two challenges and found former Liverpool star, Phillipe Coutinho who sealed the game, and made it 3-1 from close range.

Valencia must have thought they’d found the edge, and had a great chance in the game, but Barcelona displayed brilliant all round game, and easily beat the visitors.
