Arsenal thrashes Tottenham 3-1 in a one-sided North London derby at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in the Premier League, thanks to a spectacular first-half burst from the Gunners.

Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Bukayo Saka scored in a 20-minute span in the first half to ensure Mikel Arteta’s team took all three points.

Spurs haven’t won a league match at the Emirates since 2010, and this one was gone in 34 minutes as Saka turned past Hugo Lloris from close proximity after Harry Kane had failed to dislodge him in the box.

Underfire, Arteta’s side led 3-0 at halftime, their first 3-0 advantage against a top-six team since 2016.

Saka was heavily involved with a goal and assist. He squared the ball into the area for Smith Rowe who scored the 1st goal.  Later on in the first half, he pounced on an opportunity from a clumsy challenge by Harry Kane giving the ball back to the talented England star, who scored.

Arsenal always seems to do well when Saka performs. He is our Man of the Match today.

Kane, who has yet to score in the Premier League this season, might have had two. However, Spurs did pull one back late in the second half via Heung-Min Son, and the goal-scoring form continues for South Korean.

Both teams’ seasons have flipped around. Arsenal have won their past three games after losing their first three. In comparison, Spurs have conceded three goals in each of their previous three Premier League games.

Spurs are now down to 11th place, while Arsenal moves up to 10th place.
