Who was Man Of The Match?  Erling Haaland       

Borussia Dortmund beat Union Berlin 4-2 on Sunday, lifting them into second place in the Bundesliga. Erling Haaland scored twice, including a stunning lob which helped them to a victory.

Haaland has already scored seven goals in the league this season, bringing his overall record for Dortmund to 68 goals in 67 appearances in all competitions. He is our Man of the Match for this game.

In the first minute of the match, the visitors had a decent chance, but Dortmund swiftly established control, with Raphael Guerreiro putting them ahead following a lightning-quick passing play that left the Union defence stunned in the 10th minute.

Dortmund’s Donyell Malen was causing mayhem down the wing, and it was only a matter of time before they added to their tally. When defender Marvin Friedrich’s poor clearance of a Marco Reus pullback fell in his own net in the 52nd minute, it was Union who did it for them.

Five minutes later, Max Kruse’s penalty cut the deficit in half, and Andreas Voglsammer’s 81st-minute header gave Union hope for a comeback.

But Haaland pounced onto a deep cross from his CB Mats Hummels. He spotted Union Berlins’ goalie Andreas Luthe off his line and lobbed the ball high over him to settle the affair in favor of Dortmund.

Dortmund’s third consecutive league victory moved them to 12 points, one point behind the champions and league leaders Bayern Munich.
