Who Was Man Of The Match? Adama Traore
Wolverhamption Wanderers finally secured a victory under new manager Bruno Lage, as they beat Watford at Vicarage Road.
The first half was an open game, with both sides going at each other, and continued to threaten the opposition goal, but could not break the deadlock. The first goal came via an own goal, as a Wolves cross was met by a Watford player, Francisco Sierralta, who put the ball in the back of his own net. The deadlock was finally broken after 74th minute. With the goal behind, Wolves continued to attack the Watford defense and broke them down again just 9 minutes later, as substitute Hwang Hee-Chan scored on his debut and secured all three points for the away side.
While Wolves star winger Adama Traore could not find an assist or a goal for Wolves, he terrorized the Watford defense with his pace and power. His running and dribbles (10 of them) made space for his teammates to keep the Watford defense on their toes at all times.
This was Wolves first victory of the season, and new manager Bruno Lage will hope this away victory could kickstart their campaign.
