Who Was Man Of The Match? Bernardo Silva

It was tough outing for Manchester City, as Pep Guaridola‘s team came out on the top with a 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power’s Stadium. It wasn’t a goalfest, as Bernardo Silva scored the winner and is our Man of the Match.

It was a third consecutive victory for City, who now have 9 points from the 4 games. City had earlier lost to Leicester City in the Community Shield final, and was their first win after 4 consecutive away defeats. City, however, had to work hard for the win, as they couldn’t beat Kasper Schmeichel until the 62nd minute. Schmeichel put up some amazing saves against the Champions, until Silva pounced on the ball from Joao Cancelo’s shot, which was deflected into the Portuguese’s way, who finally broke the deadlock, and managed to find the back of the net.

For being the match winner, and for the shift he put in for his team, Bernardo Silva is our man of the match.
