WHO WAS MAN OF THE MATCH? Norwich City 1-2 Leicester City

Who was Man Of The Match? Jamie Vardy

Both sides are coming off losses in the Premier League. Norwich suffered humiliating defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City in their first two league matches of the 2021-22 season. Leicester will be stung after succumbing 4-1 to West Ham on Monday. It was a magnificent effort by the Hammers but a very un-Leicester-like performance by Brendan Rodgers’ men.

Leicester were defeated 1-0 the previous time they visited Carrow Road in February 2020, and have not beaten the Canaries in the Premier League since February 2016. Today’s game saw Leicester take revenge as they beat Norwich 2-1 away thanks to Marc Albrighton’s winner. It is James Vardy who takes the Man Of The Match honours as the Foxes pounce back.

Vardy’s Match Overview:

Minutes played: 90

Pass accuracy %: 83.3

Norwich should be disappointed, they were the better team in the second half and showed character to respond after Albrighton’s goal. We thought Max Aarons had a decent game despite being on the losing side. Whiles we are here, lets check out his match stats:
