Man Of The Match Report: Southampton 1-1 Manchester United

Match Attendance: 58,726

Southampton went into the half 1-0 up against a Manchester side who were one game away from equalling the record for the longest unbeaten Premier League away run. A record set by Arsenal’s Invincibles.  Che Adam’s shot ricochet off United’s Fred to give them the lead.

Our man of the match is split between Mohammed Salisu and Paul Pogba. Pogba virtually made something happen from nothing to record his 5th assist already of the season. The French man shimmied his way into the Saint’s box after a brilliant link up play with Bruno, before delicately passing to  Greenwood for United’s equaliser. Mohammed Salisu on the other hand proved that he is good enough to replace Vestergaard. The Ghanaian was exceptional today for the Saints who spent most of the game defending. A young player with all the talent to become World Class.
